How to install a driver on Windows 10
To get your MFP ready for use, you need to download the HP LaserJet Pro M1212nf driver from our website. The distribution kit contains detailed animated instructions for preparing printing equipment for work and installing software.
After starting the installer on the computer, in the window that opens, select a series of multifunction printers for which the driver is installed, specify the method of downloading the software: “Install from USB”.
We start the video tutorial on preparing the printer for work. To do this, click the “Start installation” button.
We place the device in such a way as to protect the equipment from dampness and direct sunlight.
We remove the transport fasteners: tapes and plastic elements. Their location is shown in the picture.
We open the door of the compartment for installing the cartridge. Here you need to remove the control foam insert and retainer.
Preparing the cartridge for installation. To do this, gently shake the box from side to side to ensure even distribution of the toner, remove the protective sticker by pulling the tab.
We install the cartridge on the landing mounts, close the compartment door.
Adjust the location of the output tray as shown in the figure.
Adjust the position of the sliders on the paper guides, load paper face up. Be sure to check that there are no paper clips, the sheets lay flat.
We connect the mains power cord to the corresponding connector.
Press the power button.
We adjust the location of the control panel for a convenient viewing angle and command input.
Use the buttons on the panel to configure the language interface of the “Installation Wizard”, confirm the selection by pressing the OK button.
We connect the telephone cable to use the fax function.
We proceed to download and configure the driver.
We mark the item “Easy installation” to load the driver in the configuration suggested by the developer. We confirm the selection with the “Next” button.
Select the MFP series from the list for which the software is loaded. Click “Next”.
We indicate the method of connecting the device. To do this, select the option “Setting up for printing using a USB device”. Click “Next” to continue.
We connect the equipment via a data cable, and wait for the installation process to complete.
