How to install a driver in Windows 10
When connecting a new printer to a computer, installation of special software is required. The HP LaserJet Pro M15a is no exception. To make the installation process go without errors, we attach detailed instructions.
You can download the driver from our website, the link to the required file is in the header of the website. Or you can independently find a suitable software on the manufacturer’s website. Open the downloaded file and follow the step by step guide.
First you need to install a cartridge. The screenshot shows how to remove unnecessary elements from the cartridge, after that we install it into the printer.
We are greeted by the start window of the installer. Click on the “Continue” button.
The driver will show the utilities necessary for its operation. When setting up for the first time, there is no need for partial selection of utilities. Therefore, we click on “Next” and move on to the next item.
We put a tick on the acceptance of the license agreement and move on.
In the connection method, select “Manual setting”. Click on “USB – a USB cable is used to connect to a computer.” If the connection failed. You will see the corresponding notification as in the screenshot. Recheck the cable connection and try again.
Caution: Make sure the printer is plugged in and turned on.
If everything is in order with the connection, the driver will be installed. After its completion, the printer can be used.
