How to install a driver in Windows 10
We offer step-by-step instructions for installing a printer driver. The process is illustrated using the example of the HP LaserJet Pro MFP Ultra M134a, but is relevant for all models in this series. Click on the link at the beginning of the article to download the program. Open the browser menu, go to the “Downloads” folder where the executable file was placed. Find it and double-click it. The first window of the Add New Hardware Wizard appears. Click on the “Continue” button.
In the second window, click on the “Connect a new device” link.
Then choose manual setup as the method for connecting your printing equipment to your computer. Click Next.
The connection between the printer and the PC will be carried out using a USB cable, so here you need to select the second option. Place a marker next to it by clicking on the empty circle. Click Next.
Turn on the printer, connect it with a USB cable to a laptop or PC.
The wizard will confirm the correctness of the performed actions in the windows with the message “Finish”.
Click the button of the same name to exit the installation manager. To start work on the printing device, double-click on its shortcut (printer icon) on the desktop.
