How to install a driver in Windows 10
When installing the Samsung ML-1860 driver, the first thing to do is download the executable file and run it. If you are using Windows 10, start should be done on behalf of the Administrator. For Windows 8.1 and below, this nuance is not relevant.
In the program window, check the box “Run after completion”. After that, click “Extract”.
Upon completion of unpacking, which lasts no more than a minute, the window shown above will appear. In it we click “Install now”.
Check the box “I accept the terms of the license agreement.” This is the required part. Without this checkbox, the Next button will not be available. We click on the “Next” button and proceed to the next stage.
Samsung invites you to participate in a software and product testing program. We move the mark (dot in a circle) to the item “No, I do not want to transfer such data.” Click “Next”.
Disconnect the printer from the computer. This will allow you to skip long and unnecessary steps that waste a lot of time. Without identifying the device, the installer will immediately proceed to installing the driver. You can connect the printer immediately after the specified step, but it is better to wait until the installation is complete.
Once the installation is complete, you need to click “Finish”.
