How to install a driver in Windows 10
By installing a special software component from the manufacturer, the problem of the initial setup of a new printing device on a computer is easily solved. To do this, you will need to download and install a driver that is necessary to configure the correct communication of the equipment with the system unit.
To start following the instructions, you must follow the links at the beginning of the article. They are designed to download drivers for the Samsung SL-M2070F printer. After downloading, the distribution will go to the download manager of the Internet browser, from where it will need to be launched.
At the first stage, select the settings item – “Install” – this is necessary to start the installation “from scratch”. Confirm by clicking “OK”.
Next, you will be prompted to read the Software and Intellectual Property License Agreement from Samsung. If there are no questions about this, then we mark our agreement by ticking the box opposite our agreement at the bottom of the program. We pass “Next”.
At the next stage, various options for technical connection to the system unit will be offered – via a regular cable, via a wireless network or via an Ethernet network. We mark with a point “USB” and click on “Next”.
At the final step, we insert both ends of the cable into the equipment as shown in the picture. Do not forget to turn on the power and turn on the printer.
We are waiting for the program to complete the configuration and try to print the first page.
