How to install a driver in Windows 10
If nothing happens after connecting a new printing device from Samsung to the computer, this means that the system is not configured to work with it. This setting can be done without special experience by installing a special software product from the manufacturer. This is necessary for the system to “see” the printer.
The instructions are followed by downloading the driver distribution kit. To do this, follow the links in the heading of the article to download the driver for the Samsung SL-M2070FW printer. After the download is complete, the distribution will go to the browser download manager, from where it will need to be launched.
The installation begins with determining the type of further action. In our case, we select “Installation” for setting “from scratch”. Click “OK”.
Next, you need to familiarize yourself with the license agreement between the user and Samsung for the use of intellectual property, as well as devices. If there are no objections, then put a tick in front of your consent at the bottom of the program and click “Next”.
At the next stage, it is necessary to decide on the technical method of setting up the connection between the printer and the system unit – it can be a regular cable, a wireless network, or a regular “LAN”. Select the “USB” option and mark it with a dot. Click “Next”.
We connect the cable from the kit to the device and to the system unit as shown in the figure, and do not forget to physically turn on the printer. The program will then spend 2-3 minutes to complete the printer setup.
When finished, you can send the first print job to the printer.
